Forensic Logic COPLINK

Accelerating Law Enforcement Investigations

COPLINK PROGRAM

On October 4, 2017 Forensic Logic acquired the IBM crime analytics software, COPLINK. Learn more about COPLINK Acquisition Click Here.

Forensic Logic COPLINK is a data sharing and crime analytics platform that is designed to help law enforcement organizations solve crimes faster by providing tactical, strategic and command-level access to vast quantities of seemingly unrelated data.

With task-oriented features, the COPLINK program helps law enforcement professionals search the expansive inter-agency database for leads and suspects.

DOMAIN –WIDE INFORMATION SHARING

COPLINK repositories, known as nodes, can be interconnected between departments, agencies, States and the cloud to help expedite searches and facilitate information sharing.

DATA CONSOLIDATION

Consolidate and organize disparate data sources that can be shared across agencies.

BILLIONS OF DOCUMENTS AND OBJECTS

Expand your search nationwide by joining the largest network of law enforcement agencies in America.

CUSTOMIZABLE PLATFORM

Configurable to meet local needs, the COPLINK solution suite is flexible, scalable and can be configured to support a variety of law enforcement objectives

CJIS COMPLIANT

Fully CJIS compliant, agency data can be stored on-premise, or in our secure cloud environment at NLETS, and harmonizes with every other system on the platform.

SEAMLESS INTEGRATION

Enjoy minimal burdens on your IT staff with seamless integration to your existing infrastructure, putting the power directly into the hands of all law enforcement professionals.

BENEFITS OF THE COPLINK PROGRAM

COPLINK recognized a common obstacle in traditional Law Enforcement – the distribution of critical information across multiple jurisdictions, disparate technologies and time.

Criminals operate independently of these factors and have become adept at exploiting them. COPLINK has been mitigating these challenges for decades by consolidating inter-agency data from a variety of CAD, RMS, and operational Law Enforcement systems into a massively scalable, Cloud-based data warehouse.

PROVIDING MEANINGFUL METRICS

As accountability and transparency continue to become more prevalent across our society, the value of meaningful metrics on an agency’s performance is necessary.  Identifying patterns, anomalies, and outliers with customized reporting, provide a more comprehensive CompStat landscape for each participating agency.  This internal intelligence provides the basis for crafting public perception with defendable statistics.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Developed for all law enforcement professionals, Forensic Logic COPLINK creates efficiency and simplicity of data collection across the entire department.

PATROL OFFICERS

Utilizing the data sharing solution within the COPLINK program, officers are able to collaborate more effectively, increase officer safety and solve more crimes, faster.

ANALYSTS

The ability to centralize and apply complex analytics across multiple data sets enhance an Analyst’s ability to perform entity resolution, link analysis, and intelligence production without traditional geospatial, temporal or technical restrictions.

INVESTIGATORS

Glean actionable insights, in real-time, that help identify crime trends and prevent criminal activity.

COMMAND STAFF

Develop meaningful metrics with access to the largest network and a more comprehensive CompStat landscape.

HOW COPLINK WORKS

The COPLINK program includes a massively scalable database that centralizes data from many disparate sources. With intuitive COPLINK modules, users can quickly search the database for leads and suspects, solving crimes faster while increasing officer safety.

COPLINK DETECT

Detect allows anyone to perform simple queries on any entity type, and find associations to other entities across the multi-agency data set.  When limited information is known, Detect can quickly narrow down results by finding associations between vague Person, Vehicle, Location, Gang, Firearm, etc. descriptions.

COPLINK FACE MATCH

The facial recognition modules can speed the identification of potential suspects with sophisticated facial recognition capabilities. Face Match extends core COPLINK search capabilities to help enable searches against booking photo databases using photos or composite sketches.

COPLINK ACTIVITY CORRELATION

COPLINK technology helps identify suspicious activities related to critical infrastructure and monitored areas, even when incidents and data span multiple agencies and data sources. Unique algorithms monitor incoming information and alert analysts to potentially suspicious activities.

COPLINK COMPUTER STATISTICS (COMPSTAT)

COPLINK key performance indicators help agencies conduct more effective statistical analysis across all available data. A collection of geographic information systems (GIS), statistical graphs, charting and analytical tools work with the rich COPLINK database to help agencies leverage their data and better allocate resources.

COPLINK INCIDENT ANALYZER

Analysis and visualization features can display geographic relationships between incidents. It also animates the progression of incidents over time using mapping, analytical, graphing and charting tools.

COPLINK ADAPTIVE ANALYTIC ARCHITECTURE

Enables information sharing between regional and national agencies and jurisdictions. Through rapid searches across multiple COPLINK sites and external data sources, COPLINK technology speeds access to valuable information.

COPLINK ACTIVE AGENT

Help streamline investigations by automating repetitive or periodic searches. Notify officers via email, mobile or system alerts when new information is available or when others are conducting similar searches.

TESTIMONIALS FOR COPLINK

“We’re able to access information and act on it immediately.” —Sergeant, US County Sheriff’s Office

“Mobile access to COPLINK enables an individual officer to do the work that once would have taken two or three people: the dispatcher, an analyst and perhaps even a detective to obtain the information in the field.” —Sergeant, US County Sheriff’s Office
